A Protest Film against the 2012 Olympics

We can't go so far as to claim that this version of the future is our own invention. It would be more truthful to suggest that these inventions are versions of our own future.

This is an independent feature-length film to be shot over 2009/2010. The film will be a mix between the protest documentary and a multi-plot character drama. We will mix these genres in order to give birth to a new kind of protest film, one that is not entirely a documentary... but is not entirely fictional either. Whereas the traditional protest documentary dwells on past and present events using interviews, news footage and historical fact, we (filmmakers and cast) will speculate on the future, using our collective imagination and dramatisations of the events we conceive together. We will organise improvisation and character development sessions, both individually and ensemble and from an initial framework of ideas create a script.

The aim of this website is to keep all information about the project in one place, give constant updates on the production through the blog and to recruit potential cast and crew.
